Dr Aung Gyi
MBBS, DHSM, M Fam Med., FACRRM, FRACGP
Dr Aung Gyi obtained his MBBS degree in 1985. He completed his Family Physician Training in 1996 in South Africa.
He also obtained Postgraduate Diploma in Health Services Management in 2000 and Master of Family Medicine Degree in 2002. After moving to Australia in 2005, he has been awarded Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine in 2006. He was also granted Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2007.
He is a Medical Educator at RACGP Victoria Faculty since 2008 performing roles of Clinical Examiner. He is also a General Practice Supervisor with RACGP.
He has special interests in Obstetrics, Family Medicine and Minor Surgery.
Dr R Yu
MBBS, M Fam Med., FRACGP, FACRRM
Dr R Yu obtained his MBBS degree in 1982. He also gained some post graduate experience in United Kingdom.
He completed his Family Physician Training in 1996 in South Africa. He also obtained a Post Graduate Certificate in Managing Health and Welfare in South Africa from Sheffield Hallam University in 1999 and Master of Family Medicine Degree in 2002.
After moving to Australia in 2003, he has been awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2006. He was also granted Fellowship of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine in 2006. He is a Medical Educator at RACGP Victoria Faculty since 2007 performing roles of Clinical Examiner. He is also a General Practice Supervisor with RACGP.
He has special interests in Family Medicine, Child Health, General Practice Training and teaching medical students.
Dr Aye Aye Aung
MBBS, AMC, FRACGP
Dr Aye Aye Aung obtained her MBBS degree in 2005. She gained post graduate experience in Medical and Surgical wards for about 6 years. She has been working in General Practice for 7 years. She has been awarded Australian Medical Council Certificate in 2012. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
She has special interests in Women's Health, Maternal & Child Health and General Practice.
She can communicate in English, Burmese and Mandarin.
Dr Min Min Thant
MBBS, AMC
Dr Min Min Thant obtained her MBBS degree in 2005. After post-graduate training in various teaching hospitals in Myanmar, she has been practicing as a general practitioner for 8 years in Myanmar and Cook Islands.
She has been awarded Australian Medical Council Certificate in 2015.
She has special interest in Family Medicine.
She can communicate well in both English and Myanmar Languages.
Dr Aung Than Lin
MBBS
Dr Aung Than Lin achieved his medical degree in 2003. After completion of clinical training in various hospitals in Myanmar, he has been practicing as a general practitioner in Myanmar, Cook Islands and Thailand since 2009.
He gained unique experience in Refugee Health while practicing in Thailand.
He can communicate in English and Myanmar Languages.
Practice Nurse:
Esther Zo Par Iang
Esther obtained her Bachelor of Nursing degree from Victoria University.
She had many clinical training as a nurse in different health sectors.
She has special interests in community health, mental health and Patients education.
Language spoken: Mizo chin, Hakha chin, Falam chin, Hindi and English
Practice Nurse:
Christina Meh
Christina received her Bachelor of Nursing degree from The University of Wollongong and completed her graduate year as a Registered Nurse at The Wollongong Hospital in the Paediatric and Orthopaedic Surgical wards. In addition, Christina also has had clinical training and experience in a general practice.
Her interests include paediatrics, family and community health.
Languages spoken: English and Karenni.
